Question 16: Following the conclusion of the investment plan, is there a requirement to uphold the employment of the newly hired workforce?
The necessity to sustain the full-time equivalent employees (AWUs) as salaried staff pertains not to the recently employed workforce supported under expenditure category 10 (salary costs of new employees). Instead, it relates to the company's commitment, upon the completion of its investment plan, to uphold the AWUs engaged in salaried employment during the twelve months preceding the submission of the final verification request. This obligation encompasses the AWUs engaged in wage labor twelve months prior to the submission of the financing application for the investment project. In the calculation of AWUs maintenance, the AWUs subsidized by the Action during their subsidization period are excluded from the calculation. However, if the company retains additional AWUs beyond their subsidy period, these are incorporated into the calculation described above.
