Training and Employment Program for Unemployed Individuals Aged 25-45

Training and Employment Program for Unemployed Individuals Aged 25-45
The initiative aims to provide training for 10,000 unemployed individuals in digital and green skills and create 7,500 new job positions for their employment. Applications will remain open until the end of the year, with up to 100% subsidy of salaries and contributions funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

Eligibility

Private businesses are eligible to apply, with priority given to companies in the green economy. Beneficiaries must be unemployed individuals registered in the Public Employment Service (DYPA) unemployment registry, aged 25-45.

Process

  1. Interested businesses first submit an application.
  2. After submission, DYPA employment counselors will recommend candidates with the qualifications requested by the business.
  3. The business will preselect a beneficiary who will then participate in a fast-track, 80-hour remote training program in green or digital skills of their choice.
  4. Upon completion of the training, the business will hire the unemployed individual for a period of six months.

Subsidy

Businesses hiring unemployed individuals aged 25-30 in new positions through the program will receive a 100% subsidy of salary and contributions for six months (€1,022 per month, €6,132 in total).

For unemployed individuals aged 31-45, the subsidy will cover 80% of salary and contributions (€818 per month, €4,906 in total).
