Program pre-publication: Support for investment in processing/marketing and/or development of agricultural products

The pre-announcement regarding the intervention Π3-73-2.3 "Support for investments in processing/trading and/or development of agricultural products" of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (ΣΣ ΚΑΠ) of Greece for 2023–2027 has been announced.

Eligible Applicants

Businesses primarily involved in the processing of agricultural products (as raw materials) where the final product is agricultural are eligible for this action.

Eligible Budget

The budget for applications can range from €400,001 to €5,000,000.

Subsidy Rates by Region

Ionian Islands, Crete, and small Aegean islands: 65%

Regions of Peloponnese, Western Greece, Central Greece, Thessaly, Epirus, Central Macedonia, Western Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia, and Thrace: 50%

Region of Attica: 40%

An additional 10% enhancement in subsidy rate is provided for expenses aimed at reducing energy and water consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste usage.

  • Develop methods and procedures that protect the environment and mitigate climate change.

Eligible Sectors

Raw materials and final products can belong to sectors such as meats (sheep, cattle, pigs, poultry, rabbits), dairy, eggs, honey, animal feeds, cereals, oil products, fruits and vegetables, wine, vinegar, flowers, medicinal and aromatic plants, seeds, and reproductive material.

Actions Involved

Mainly involve establishing, modernizing, expanding, relocating production units and storage spaces, merging units, and managing by-products as specified in the regulatory framework.

Submission and Evaluation

Applications for support are submitted digitally through the Integrated Information System of State Aids (OΠΣΚΕ). The selection and inclusion of beneficiaries are based on a comparative evaluation and scoring of each application.
